Do You Have A Heart Wall?

The Heart Wall is a concept from the book The Emotion Code, written and developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson. It is an energetic and emotional framework for understanding how trapped emotions can create a kind of energetic "barrier" around the heart, limiting one's ability to feel, give and recieve love freely.
Through life we experience emotional pain - grief, pain, rejection, loneliness etc. If the emotion was too intense or we lack resources to process it, that emotion became "trapped" in the body. The subconscious mind may use this cluster of trapped emotions, as an energetic shield around the heart, intending to protect it from future pain. This is what creates a Heart Wall.
While it protects you from pain, it also numbs deeper feelings of love, joy, connection, intuition and creativity. People with Heart Walls often decribe feeling emotionally numb, disconnected or blocked in relationships and life purpose. It has been estimated that about 93% of adults have a Heart Wall.
Possible signs you may have a Heart Wall:
Difficulty feeling love - even for people you know you care about.
Emotional numbness or flatness - you can't feel highs or lows fully.
Trouble connecting in relationships - you keep people at bay.
Recurring heartache or grief that doesn't seem to go heal.
Chronic sadness or low mood without a clear reason.
Feeling stuck in life or disconnected from your passion or purpose.
Physical sensations in the chest area - tightness, heaviness, pressure.
Difficulty expressing emotions, even when you want to in your own company.
A sense that love can't get "in" - you give but rarely feel it back.
Practitioners use muscle testing (applied kinesiology) to identify whether you have a Heart Wall, which trapped emotions are forming it, and when they were created (age, relating to a trauma, break up, work situation).
After successive releases, many report feeling lighter, more open, and more peaceful. Greater ease giving and reciving love. Renewed clarity in purpose or relationships.
